Tarsha’s Legacy Centre

TLC was opened in May 2008 in the New Happy Village at Koh Krobey in Kandal Province. It is named after Natarsha Charlesworth, a 22 year old trainee teacher from Australia, who wanted to come to Cambodia and teach the children in Happy Village, but sadly passed away in a white water rafting accident in October 2007.

This education centre now provides regular English, Khmer, arts & crafts and story classes for nearly 100 children. They not only receive education, but also health care and a nutritional meal each day to help them grow and develop into the children they were created to be!

TLC textbooks

Since TLC began we have seen these many of these children move from being at the bottom of their class at the local Government school to being top students! These children have so much potential; all they need is the support and encouragement to help them achieve all that they have the ability to achieve!

Would you consider sponsoring a child at TLC for AUD$50 per month, so that this life-changing work can continue? Our dream is to see these children build a bright future for themselves, and to contribute to the growth of the nation of Cambodia.
